Form 46H and 46I - Notice of appeal (Application for stay) - Demerit points

This appeal may be lodged to correct a clerical error regarding demerit points recorded against a person following a suspension or disqualification of licence due to the incursion of demerit points.

IMPORTANT: Please note the following circumstances when an appeal can be made under section 46H of the Road Safety Act 1986.

(1) An appeal may only be made on either or both of the following grounds:

(a) the Secretary recorded certain demerit points other than as required by the regulations;

(b) an error has been made in the addition of the number of demerit points incurred in a relevant period.
