AVL - Information for Legal Practitioners

Legislative changes in 2016 provided that all accused will appear before the court by way of Audio Visual Link (AVL), pursuant to the Evidence (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1958  unless an order is made under s42L(1) or if an accused person is required to appear physically before the court.
