Positive Coronavirus tests at two Magistrates’ Court locations

The Magistrates’ Court of Victoria can confirm that two staff members have tested positive to coronavirus: one at Melbourne Magistrates’ Court and one at Heidelberg Magistrates’ Court.  The staff members are close contacts.

Appropriate cleaning has been undertaken at both sites, and support is being provided to all staff.

Court staff have been working in teams so the diagnoses have not impacted court operations.

The health and wellbeing of our staff, judicial officers, stakeholders and court users remains our highest priority.
